Position: Bar Lead
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Job Type: Part-Time (Evenings Thursday-Sunday)

Wanderlinger Brewing Company is looking for a primarily Weekend Bar Lead/Supervisor to oversee front-of-house operations during our busiest nights. This role is responsible for leading taproom staff, maintaining excellent guest experiences, and helping coordinate live music events that frequently take place on weekends.

This position requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to keep service running smoothly in a high-energy brewery environment.

Schedule

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

  • Evening shifts through late-night closing

  • Must be comfortable working during busy service periods and live music events

Key Responsibilities

Front of House Management

  • Supervise bartenders and support staff during weekend service

  • Ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience

  • Assist with staff direction, shift organization, and problem solving

  • Support bar operations when needed during peak hours

Event & Live Music Coordination

  • Oversee front-of-house operations during live music performances

  • Communicate with performers, sound staff, and taproom team

  • Ensure smooth transitions between regular service and events

Taproom Operations

  • Monitor guest experience and address issues quickly and professionally

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the taproom

  • Ensure staff follow company policies and service standards

Closing Responsibilities

  • Assist with nightly closing procedures

  • Ensure staff complete side work and closing duties

  • Secure the taproom at the end of the night

Qualifications

  • Previous bar, restaurant, or hospitality management experience preferred

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable managing staff and interacting with guests

  • Interest in craft beer and live music is a plus

Compensation

  • Hourly pay based on experience
